General Information

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process personal data only to the extent necessary for operating this website, responding to your inquiries, and providing our services.

This privacy policy informs you about what data we collect, the purposes for which we process it, and what rights you have as a data subject under the GDPR.

Hosting via Vercel

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit our website, Vercel automatically collects technical access data, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, date and time of access, and pages visited. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably.

This data may be transferred to the USA. Vercel has implemented Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR to ensure an adequate level of data protection for international transfers. For more information, please refer to Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in the technically secure and stable operation of the website.

Contact Form

When you contact us via the contact form, we collect the following personal data: first name, last name, email address, phone number / WhatsApp, and the content of your message.

We collect the same data when you use our project calculator (quiz) on the website. In addition to first name, last name, email address and phone number, your answers to the questions about your project are processed in order to better assess your request.

This data is used exclusively to process your inquiry and to communicate with you. Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your request or we are legally required to do so.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a pre-contractual or contractual matter, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — based on our legitimate interest in responding to contact requests — in all other cases.

Forwarding to Telegram

To enable a fast response to your inquiries, messages submitted via the contact form or the project calculator are forwarded to Telegram using the Telegram Bot API. Telegram is operated by Telegram Messenger Inc. / Telegram FZ-LLC.

As part of this forwarding, your name, contact details, and message content are transmitted to Telegram's servers, which may be located outside the European Union. Telegram states that international data transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses. Please do not submit particularly sensitive personal data (e.g. health or financial information) through the contact form.

For more information on Telegram's data practices, please see: telegram.org/privacy. The legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by confirming the privacy policy in the contact form or project calculator, supplemented by Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in efficient and timely communication. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (see section 9).

Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of personal data on this website is based on the following legal grounds:

– Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR: consent of the data subject (e.g. agreement to this privacy policy in the contact form) – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interests of the controller (secure website operation, responding to contact requests)

To display the website in your preferred language and to temporarily store form data you have already entered, we use your browser's local storage and session storage. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us unless you submit a form. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a user-friendly presentation of the website).

This website uses the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (CMP) to obtain and manage your consent for cookies and similar technologies before they become active. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed or withdrawn at any time via the cookie banner. The legal basis for the use of optional cookies is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Storage Period

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable statutory retention obligations.

Data from contact inquiries is deleted once your request has been fully resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply (e.g. under German commercial or tax law, up to 10 years). Technical access data collected by Vercel is processed and deleted in accordance with Vercel's own retention policy.
